Managing natural hair

Managing natural hair can be very hard at times and can make you want to go back to a relaxer. If a relaxer is not what you want then here are a few things you can do to help those unruly curls:

1. Make sure to have a bottle of detangler on stand by. Detangler helps to soften up the hair before you wash.
2. Use a large or wide tooth comb to comb through the hair with your detangler to help make you life easier.
3. Use a cleansing shampoo to help clean the hair and rid the hair of build up such as ( oils, sweat, grease ) and apply the shampoo directly to your scalp. You can do this by parting your hair in sections first and then apply as though you are greasing scalp. This will help in making sure you scalp and hair are clean in that order.
4. Follow through with a moisturizing shampoo after you finish washing with a cleansing shampoo ( Pantene botanicals or pantene in the brown bottle )
5. Last but not least apply a generouse amount of conditioner to the hair and comb through with your wide tooth comb and then rinse with warm water.

6. Proceed with you style!

If there are any other concern with your natural tresses, you can reply to this blog with your questions and I will be more than happy to answer them.
